As an assurance partner for over 15 years, Krista Han has significant experience providing accounting, assurance, and advisory services to clients in both the public and private sectors.
Krista has had primary responsibility for leading various complex assurance engagements in the Toronto and Fredericton offices, with a particular interest in privately-held businesses. Krista also provides services related to accounting, auditing, taxation, business consulting, and financial planning.
She has served with our Grant Thornton National Quality Monitoring Program, assisting with the inspection of assurance files in offices across Canada.
Krista particularly enjoys working with business families, helping them address the unique issues encountered by family members in business together, including: succession and continuity planning, governance systems, communication, and conflict resolution.
In addition to external client services, Krista served as a project manager in the firm's national office, where she had responsibility for significant firm projects, including large technology implementations.
Krista currently sits on the board of the Grant Thornton Foundation and chairs its engagement committee. She passionately gives her time to the organizing committee of one of the largest Terry Fox Runs in Canada (since 2010) and has participated on the board of various other community organizations over the years.
