Wade Taylor is the managing partner in Nova Scotia, which encompasses 10 office locations. In this role, he oversees market share growth, talent development, and delivery of our suite of services to assist our clients with their business decisions. He also serves on the firm's senior leadership team.
Wade has more than 25 years of experience working with privately held businesses on annual financial reporting and compliance, and complex financial matters including merger and acquisition, financial projections and business succession. He has served clients in a variety of industries from construction to manufacturing, transportation, wholesale/retail fuel distribution and pharmacies. Most recently, Wade led the firm's offices in Antigonish and New Glasgow, and also had the role of markets leader for Nova Scotia.
This year, he completed the Family Enterprise Advisory (FEA) program with the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors, which compliments his technical skills and experience advising family business clients.
Wade is a proud community leader and has completed terms as chair of the Aberdeen Health Foundation, president of the Weeks Hockey Organization and vice president of finance for Hockey Nova Scotia. Presently, he serves as a board member of Highland Community Residential Services Foundation and Friends of Pictou County Society.
In 2014, he received the Grant Thornton Ambassador Award in recognition of his contributions to building great client relationships and his volunteer activities within the community. He also received Hockey Canada volunteer of the year award in 2004.
