Kevin is a corporate finance partner and the advisory services leader in Nova Scotia. He plays a significant leadership role in the practice for the Atlantic region. He specializes in the area of corporate finance with a specific focus on financing and transaction advisory, financial and operational due diligence and financial modeling support.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience and commitment to public and private sector clients providing advice on transaction and debt financing in order to provide the right solution.
With over 20 years' experience, Kevin provides financial advisory services to clients in the areas of capital structuring, business succession, management and leveraged buyouts, financial modeling, financial due diligence and post-merger integration. He is instrumental in the firm's Atlantic Canadian mergers and acquisition practice and has expertise in areas such as debt advisory, investment analysis, transaction advisory, balance sheet restructuring and negotiation support.
He has been involved in numerous financing, transaction and due diligence advisory assignments across a number of industry sectors including automotive, wholesale, manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, telecommunications, transportation, retail and real estate.
Kevin has led corporate financing transactions ranging in size from $1.0 million through to $200.0 million. His background includes several years working in commercial banking with one of Canada's leading financial institutions, where he was responsible for structuring and monitoring various financing arrangements for large corporate and public sector clients throughout Atlantic Canada.
Kevin is also a contributor to numerous Grant Thornton white papers and articles, and regularly speaks at industry events on the attributes of mergers and acquisitions.
