    As an assurance principal, Rob has extensive experience providing year-end accounting and advisory services to a broad range of clients. His expertise is providing assurance services to First Nation clients, not-for-profit organizations as well as a number of privately held businesses. Rob is also a member of both our First Nation and Technology sector groups. Rob works with his clients to find practical solutions to their business planning in a timely and efficient manner while considering their current and future needs.


    Rob has 12 years of experience as a public accountant. His current focus is providing year-end accounting, tax and financial advisory to many clients in a variety of sectors including, manufacturing, first nation, and, not-for-profit enterprises.

    Rob is a member of the board of directors and the current treasurer for both the Cape Breton Partnership and Basketball Cape Breton. Previously, he spent eight years as treasurer and member of the board of directors of the United Way Cape Breton.

    Rob's varied background and involvement allows him to draw upon these experiences to bring proactive perspectives to his clients to help achieve their goals.

    He has presented a number of professional development courses for Chartered Professional Accountants Nova Scotia, as well as a number of internal courses at Grant Thornton relating to accounting and reporting issues.
