Dawne-Marie leads our privately held business practice as a partner with Grant Thornton in Thunder Bay. She has 33 years of experience assisting companies, business owners and professionals with financial needs such as personal and corporate taxation, valuations, estate planning, financing, accounting and general business advice.
Dawne-Marie works with a diverse group of clients ranging from small, growth-oriented, privately-held, owner-managed businesses and professional services practices, along with large, dynamic corporate organizations. Her current industry focuses include aviation, industrial and commercial distribution, hospitality, retail, franchises and professional services. She is passionate about seeing her clients succeed in their business and personal financial goals, helping them address their unique issues and challenges, and being part of their success through discovering what's important to them and their business.
Dawne-Marie currently serves as chair of the Grant Thornton Leading Inclusively Leadership Council. The council is focused on creating a culture that embraces inclusion for all, and the important benefits it can bring to our clients and our people. As a leader, she strongly believes in inspiring others to be their best and empowering them to play to their strengths. Past community leadership roles include, Treasurer for Thunder Bay Crime Stoppers, Thunder Bay Lung Association, Thunder Bay Business Women's Network, Thunder Bay Estate Planning Institute and Thunder Bay Sports Celebrity Dinner.
