Brian is a Chartered Business Valuator and a director in our corporate finance practice. He works out of our Charlottetown office and has been in public practice for over twelve years. Service offerings include business valuation, transaction advisory and litigation support.
Brian is also involved with general consulting and business planning and has significant financial modelling experience. He brings a unique perspective to his engagements having obtained an MBA and worked in industry before joining our firm. In 2014, he assisted in the compilation of our National Litigation Survey Report.
In 2010 Brian obtained the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation and began to shift his practice towards corporate finance. Prior to this he was a member of our assurance practice having completed his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2003. He has been involved in varied assignments across a number of industries providing litigation support, valuation analysis, and transaction advisory services.
Brian has successfully managed a number of sales processes for clients, and regularly provides advice on acquisitions. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Brian studied international marketing at the master's level and began his professional career with one of PEI's largest export companies. He was recognized as one of the top 50 new CAs in Canada after completing the entrance examination in 2003.
