Making a difference is part of the Grant Thornton culture, both individually and collectively. Our vision is to establish a distinctive leadership brand by creating sustainable advantage for our clients, our people and the communities across Canada in which we work and live.

The Grant Thornton Foundation

From grassroots efforts to the Grant Thornton Foundation, we are very involved at both a local and national level in the communities in which we work and live. Our people make tremendous contributions that make our communities stronger.

Just some of the many things our people have been involved in include raising funds and/or dedicating their time for Easter Seals, MS Society, United Way, Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Ronald McDonald House and the Heart and Stroke Foundation to name a few. Together, we commit tens of thousands of hours to our communities annually.

In 2011, we established the Grant Thornton Foundation, to provide contributions and financial support for causes that resonate with our people.

Grant Thornton Campus Charity Campaign

This year, for the eighth year, we ran our Campus Charity Campaign. Instead of handing out traditional promotional items on campuses across Canada, we selected three charities and invited students to help choose the one most deserving of our campus donation this year.
