The Government of Alberta’s new Agriculture Program commenced on December 15,
2017. The program offers funding to producers to reduce the overall costs of improving energy efficiency in the farming operation.
What is the Farm Energy and Agri-Processing Program (FEAP)?
FEAP is designed to provide financial support to producers to invest in energy-efficient equipment, energy efficient construction of buildings and energy-efficient retrofits to existing buildings.
How much can you receive?
FEAP has a maximum grant funding of $250,000 per applicant per year. Most eligible projects and purchases will be provided grant funding of 50 percent of the cost of the project.
