Armando Minicucci

As a partner in Grant Thornton’s tax practice and a member of our national succession and estate planning team, I provide tax services to a diverse group of private and owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals. I also have substantial experience serving not-for-profit clients, charities and private foundations, and am often called upon to help clients with their philanthropic intentions. No matter what type of engagement I’m working on, my commitment is to consistently act as an advocate for my clients by providing them with access to tailored tax solutions designed to resolve their unique issues.

In keeping with my commitment to deliver high-quality service, I am a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Mississauga Estate Planning Council. I have also completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax courses, including several of the specialized tax courses.

In addition to having lectured at firm-sponsored workshops and acting as a tax presenter at various events, I am a regular participant and contributor to the Toronto West Tax Practitioners Group. I have also presented at the Toronto Branch of STEP, the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Ontario Tax Conference and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) and have been a regular contributor to Carswell’s Tax Hyperion publication.

Thanks to this experience, I am often called upon by national media to speak to current tax matters and have been regularly featured on the CTV National News.

Outside of work, I enjoy completing home renovation projects and running with my dog, aptly named ‘Merlot’ as I also like a good glass of wine.
