Staying ahead of the digital technology curve is vital to Grant Thornton and our clients. As Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, I champion the use of digital technologies in all aspects of our business, and look to drive innovation that helps our people deliver an extraordinary client experience.
I joined Grant Thornton in 2017, bringing 18 years of leadership experience in business strategy, sales and marketing, product development, software engineering and generating revenue from technological innovation. I’ve championed new technology product introduction across various industries, including financial services, energy, retail, telecommunications, and medical devices.
In my early career as an entrepreneur, I built software services that digitize customer experiences and drive productivity. I later joined IBM, where I engineered products and services from concept to commercialization for the global enterprise market and open source community. I’ve taken on leadership roles in environments experiencing rapid change and disruption, and I enjoy helping clients transform their business to gain value using cloud and software technology.
Beyond my day-to-day responsibilities at Grant Thornton, I’m passionate about philanthropy and education. As an alumnus of the IBM Corporate Services Corps, I executed social responsibility initiatives in Malaysia and the Philippines to drive community empowerment. Closer to home, I’m an active volunteer at hackathons and an advisor to startups in the Toronto community.
