As a Director of Operations and Training for Grant Thornton Productivity Improvement, I design and deliver management workshops to help client managers and supervisors learn the concepts they need to get the best possible results for their organizations. I also develop measurement tools to assess the value of improvements made by the teams.
I’ve been helping companies improve productivity in a wide variety of industries for more than 25 years, both as a line manager and as a consultant. I have worked with small enterprises and large Fortune 500 multinationals, and for both private and public sector clients. A seasoned analyst and facilitator, I also specialize in Lean Processing and have practical skills in operations improvement, results measurement, statistics, strategic planning, training and process analysis.
As a key member and leader within Grant Thornton Productivity Improvement, my achievements include three years developing our Lean practice and eight years as Training Director leading projects that use our Structured Approach. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, I spent five years in a performance improvement practice and two years in a change management practice. I was also an instructor at Sheridan College in Ontario.
.I hold a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics and an M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, as well as being a registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Management Consultant. During my down time, I enjoy spending time renovating my old cottage.
