As a Licensed Insolvency Trustee with Grant Thornton Limited, I help people and companies resolve their financial problems. I’ve practiced exclusively in both consumer and corporate insolvency, litigation support and forensic accounting since 2003. My current focus is working with individuals and small businesses.
Over the course of my career, I have helped thousands of individuals, professionals, and corporations with their financial difficulties. I have also been retained as a trusted advisor and service provider by many of Canada’s banks and private lenders, as well as First Nations and the Canada Revenue Agency.
I bring a practical, down-to-earth approach to my work. I enjoy being able to take complicated legal and financial issues and explain them in a way that people can understand so they can make decisions that are right for them.
A little known fact about me is that, before going back to night school to obtain my accounting designation, I was a tradesman working as an aircraft engine mechanic and welder.
Outside of work, I volunteer with a number of charitable and not-for-profit organizations and spend as much of my time as possible riding (and repairing) a rotating stable of motorcycles.
