As a forensic accounting partner, I work with clients to investigate fraud allegations, manage risk and recover losses through computer-assisted forensics. I’m passionate about helping businesses and organizations of all kinds to decrease their exposure to fraud and increase their ability to quickly detect issues that could lead to losses.
Over the course of my career I’ve investigated, reported and managed numerous fraud cases, both civil and criminal. As a court-qualified expert, I often provide testimony in the Ontario and Superior Courts. I’m also a technical editor and columnist for CPA Magazine, earning two Kenneth R. Wilson awards for excellence in Canadian business media.
I enjoy speaking to community groups about fraud prevention and awareness. The Jewish Genealogical Society, CPA Canada Literacy Program and municipal police services are among those I’ve addressed. I also volunteer with several school committees, mentor graduates who aspire to a business career, and assist with various public- and private-school fundraising events.
