As the Assurance Services Partner for the Edmonton business unit, I leverage 19 years of experience to support small-to-medium owner-managed businesses, focusing primarily on professionals such as doctors, dentists, engineers and lawyers.

I offer a wide range of services—including creditor and structure planning, succession planning and asset/business financing—but my specialty is tax planning. My clients work hard for their money, so my ultimate goal is to maximize the percentage of revenue that ends up in their personal hands at the end of the day.

Given the nature of my role, longstanding client relationships aren’t uncommon and I particularly enjoy helping my clients plan for, and work towards, future business goals. I love offering my accounting expertise and tax history knowledge to support clients as they zero in on their future objectives. To me, mapping out these three- to five-year plans, and looking beyond the immediate future, is where the real fun lies.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through competitive sports—particularly basketball—and spending as much quality time as possible with my family
