Jonathan Krieger

With more than 20 years of experience in restructuring, I’m very pleased to lead Grant Thornton’s restructuring practice in Canada.
 
Over the years I’ve worked on numerous complex insolvency cases that involved multi-jurisdictional operations and cross-border issues. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, I provide a full range of professional insolvency services.

In addition to administering large and complex insolvency cases in real estate, financial services, manufacturing and automotive, I’ve provided financial advisory services to many of Canada's chartered banks, private lenders, financially challenged companies, regulators and government institutions.

I’m actively involved in my industry as a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC). I’ve had the opportunity to present at several conferences and to contribute to business publications on the topics of insolvency and restructuring.

Outside of work, my priority is spending time with my family. I’m also an avid runner and cyclist, and I love exploring architecture wherever I go.  I’m a member of Heritage Toronto, an organization committed to protecting and preserving Toronto's cultural, architectural, archaeological and natural heritage.
