When I joined Grant Thornton five years ago, I brought with me extensive experience in business management gained through 32 years in public practice. Now, I apply my significant professional services experience in helping dynamic owner-managed and family businesses.
I’ve lectured extensively on personal financial planning and have conducted seminars, training workshops, and one-on-one financial counselling for companies, as well as the federal and provincial governments. I’ve written for The Globe & Mail and Canadian Living magazine, in addition to a regular financial column for the Winnipeg Sun.
I have served as treasurer and executive committee member for the Peter Gzowski Tournaments for Literacy, the Glendale Golf & Country Club, and the Charleswood Hawks (Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League).
A competitive pool player, I played snooker for most of my adult life, converting to 8 Ball approximately 10 years ago. I love golf and travel extensively with my wife, who is my childhood sweetheart and best friend of 45 years.
