After beginning my career as an educator, I became a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 2012, earning several academic awards in the process. Since that time, I have provided private businesses, charitable organizations and not-for-profits with a variety of assurance and tax-related solutions. For instance, I’ve helped clients improve their processes, record keeping and operational efficiency; worked to help them organize in the most tax-efficient way; and resolved numerous CRA appeals on their behalf.
Because I speak five languages (English, French, Russian, Spanish and Hebrew), I work with a very diverse group of clients and always find time to meet with them face-to-face to uncover—and resolve—their concerns.
I’m also a strong believer in volunteerism and giving back to the community. Over the years, I was the treasurer of the Vancouver Jewish Film Festival Society, a volunteer ESL program coordinator for the Salvation Army Family Services and a trustee of the CGA BC Educational Foundation. I’ve also held numerous board positions with the CPA-BC Richmond – South Delta chapter, and was previously co-chair of the chapter board.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, creative writing, practicing yoga, cycling, paddle-boarding, kayaking, playing tennis and spending time with my family—and can often be found at our family cabin in the Cariboo.
