As a senior vice president at Grant Thornton Limited, I work exclusively in the financial restructuring, receivership and bankruptcy area.

I have been a financial advisor to many lenders over the past 25 years, directing various restructuring and liquidation assignments. My clients span countless industries, including technology, forest products, fishing, aquaculture, manufacturing, hospitality, financial services, mining and contracting.

I was admitted as a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society in 1976 and became a licensed trustee in 1986. I hold the CIRP designation (Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional) and was elected a Fellow in 2002. I also served a two-year term as Chair of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, and a two-year term as a member of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy’s Management Advisory Board.
