The rewards of running your own business should outweigh the challenges—that’s my goal when supporting my clients as a Grant Thornton tax professional.
I’ve been with Grant Thornton for more than 30 years, practicing primarily in the private business space. As a domestic tax partner, I assist my clients with a variety of issues at every stage of their business and their careers: succession and estate planning; mergers and acquisitions; and corporate and personal tax planning.
My personal interests include travel and recreational sports – with curling at the top of the list. I’ve also been involved in many community and charitable activities, including being the Treasurer of Ronald McDonald House of Newfoundland and Labrador since 2009. I’m proud to be part of the team that started the charity locally and ran a successful capital campaign to fund, construct and operate the facility.
