Leveraging over 15 years of public practice experience, and with certifications as a CPA, CA and Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP), I currently work as a senior a manager with the tax services group in Grant Thornton’s St. John’s office and the Newfoundland and Labrador business unit.
Over the years, I have provided tax advice and services to a wide range of clients across Newfoundland and Labrador, including local, national and multinational companies in both the public and private sectors. Throughout, I remain committed to delivering superior client service and drawing on my professional knowledge and experience to help clients meet their strategic tax and business planning objectives.
Additionally, I am a member of our national succession and estate planning group, where I focus on the succession and planning needs of my clients.
On the professional side, I have been a group study facilitator in the CICA In-depth Income Tax Course, the most comprehensive training program in the country for professional tax advisors. The course focuses on topics related to personal and corporate tax, such as income from business or property, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, capital gains and losses, and business combinations.
Last but not least, I am involved in the community as a treasurer for both the Campia Gymnastics Club Inc. and the Newfoundland Historical Society.
