As a Partner in the assurance, tax and business advisory practice in the Grant Thornton Ajax office, my role is to help our clients reach their greatest potential.
Over my 31-year career in public accounting, I have worked with clients in countless industries. Today, I predominantly serve government-funded, not-for-profit organizations and registered charities. My practice focuses on organizations such as social housing providers, daycare centres and other community service organizations. Additionally, I continue to work with a wide array of owner-managed private business clients, including professional services and the construction trades.
I offer a wide array of client services, which are always driven by a client-value approach. I make it a priority to empower all my clients with timely, high-quality financial reporting so they can make informed decisions. In the case of my social housing clients, I take special pride in helping them navigate dynamic funding and reporting environments and to evaluate options at the end of operating agreements to support sustainability.
Over the years, I've served on boards of small local community-focused registered charities, helping them to establish roots in the community. I've also contributed many volunteer hours to local minor hockey teams, like any good hockey dad!
In my spare time, I enjoy road cycling, family fun on the water and cheering on my favourite hockey team!
