As a Chartered Professional Accountant, I work with clients in the agricultural and construction industries to address a broad range of their accounting, taxation, financial planning and estate planning needs. Throughout, my primary aim is to deliver exceptional client service, while helping my clients minimize their taxes and develop plans to reach their goals.

To do this, I draw on a wealth of experience. I grew up on a farm near Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan where I acquired first-hand knowledge of the agriculture industry. After earning my Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge, I articled with BDO Canada LLP. I also worked with Brookfield Residential in Calgary, where I gained valuable experience in the residential construction industry, before joining BVA LLP in 2010. In 2019, I became a member of the Grant Thornton team.

In addition to earning both my Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant designations in Alberta, I have successfully completed the CPA Canada in-depth tax program.

When I’m not a work, I enjoy volunteering at various community events and am an active member of the Medicine Hat Curling Club. I also love to travel and spend time with my family and friends, and enjoy numerous sports, including baseball and curling.
