Situated in the Edmonton office, I lead Grant Thornton’s Northern Alberta Business Unit valuations, financial modelling and litigation support practice. A business advisor and chartered business valuator (CBV), I leverage over seven years of combined litigation and financial advisory experience to support my clients with their business needs.
Often, this support comes in the form of valuation reports and estimates of fair market value. Whether a client is looking to purchase or sell a business, reorganize a corporation, conduct a related-party transaction, equitably divide matrimonial property or resolve a shareholder dispute, I help them navigate the valuations side of the process—and respectfully resolve complex financial issues through interest-based negotiations and mediation. I also assist counsel and their clients by preparing expert reports for determining guideline income, quantifying financial needs, as well as economic damages.
I’m a member of the Alberta Collaborative Family Professionals (Edmonton) and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). When I’m not busy helping our clients, colleagues and community thrive, I can be found spending time with my family or out running on the beautiful trails in the Edmonton River Valley.
