I’m an advisor who is passionate about working with dynamic organizations. With more than 15 years’ experience in public practice, my clients span many industries, including not-for-profits, leasing, oil and gas services, financial services and retail sales.
As the leader of both the charity and not-for-profit and the publicly listed company teams in Northern Alberta, I focus on helping organizations meet their growth, governance and internal control needs by optimizing their annual audit process. I strongly believe that clients should expect value beyond the audit. This comes from building strong relationships that enable me to challenge their thinking and provide guidance and advice in a complex, ever-changing world.
In addition to providing audited financial statement and other reporting, I help organizations that need an extra resource to assess financial standards, meet their filing deadlines, or understand the changing worlds of PSAS, IFRA, ASPE and ASNPO.
I’m pleased to serve the industry and the wider community through volunteering. I’m a member of the Practice Review Committee for the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants, member of the Board of Governors and a committee chair for both MacEwan University and Newman Theological College, founding member and board director of The NPO Collective and past-president of the Canadian Society of Association Executives.
