As a Principal at Grant Thornton, I leverage over 30 years of experience to provide clients with a range of assurance, advisory and tax-related services. By working across industries—including agriculture, not-for-profit, natural resources and retail—I’ve gained a good understanding of the unique accounting challenges these operations face. This allows me to deliver targeted solutions to address these organizations’ auditing, accounting and financing needs.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1980, I obtained both my Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations. I have also been a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia Standards Review Committee since 2012.
I have long believed in giving back to the community where I live and work. As part of that commitment, I am currently treasurer of the Downtown Truro Partnership and F4 Life Association and was formerly treasurer of the Truro and Colchester Chamber of Commerce.
In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family including skiing in the winter and boating and biking in the warmer seasons.
