As a senior manager in the Grant Thornton tax group, I leverage my 10-plus years of tax advisory experience to fulfill the firm’s commitment of helping our clients, colleagues and communities thrive.
Throughout the course of my career, I’ve worked with owner-managed businesses to plan and execute tax strategies that improve cash flow, reduce risk and enable businesses to pay less tax. I’ve had the opportunity to assist owner-managers and their businesses at every stage: from start-up and growth to divestiture and estate planning.
As part of the Grant Thornton team, I’ve also been fortunate to have many opportunities for community involvement. Currently, I serve as a member of the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation gift services planning committee. In the past, I’ve been a Level I and II instructor of the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course, served on the board and finance committee of a local private school and acted as treasurer of my church.
Away from the office, you can find me spending time with my family. We enjoy being active through sports and getting out for hikes.
