Growing up on a mixed grain-cattle farm in east central Alberta—now a family-owned and operated corporation that I’m still involved with—has given me a unique perspective of business. Whether evaluating emerging trends or identifying challenges that affect my clients, I draw on 20 years of being an assurance advisor to deliver trusted, straight-forward advice.
I’ve worked with owner-manager clients in a variety of industries including automotive dealerships, oilfield support services, and agriculture. My technical expertise of accounting standards has helped me become a leader and trusted resource to other professionals within Grant Thornton.
When not assisting my clients, I spend my time out at my family’s farm or volunteering in the local community. I’m involved in several community theatre productions—both onstage and on the production side—and I’m also an accomplished pianist and amateur cellist.
