I can help clients with the Canadian and U.S. personal tax and payroll implications of employees crossing the border.

Over my 20-year career, I’ve garnered extensive experience managing the movement of employees between Canada and the U.S. in industries ranging from manufacturing, consumer goods to tech. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients with well-established mobility programs as well as those just beginning to address the implications of employee travel. As personal tax and payroll issues are often intertwined with corporate tax implications, I work closely with my colleagues locally and internationally to bring clients solutions that address their mobility situation holistically.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Master of Accounting program, and a Canadian CPA, CA, I also hold a U.S. CPA designation. I was also a contributing author to “Introduction to International Tax in Canada.”

Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community. I am currently serving on Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region’s board, and volunteer with a local Girl Guide unit. I love spending time with my son and daughter supporting their interests and activities, as well as reading and baking.
