With almost 20 years of experience in public practice, I work predominantly with owner-managed businesses in the construction, real estate, not-for-profit, hospitality, insurance and technology sectors. Most of my work is focused on helping my clients with with their compliance needs as well as consulting on tax planning, corporate restructuring, succession planning and other business matters.

Originally from Winnipeg, I grew up in Nanaimo, BC and obtained my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria. Over the years, I’ve served on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Victoria (including time as Treasurer), acted as Treasurer of Layritz Little League Baseball Association for 10 years and volunteered with the United Way of Greater Victoria.

Outside the office, I can generally be found at a hockey arena or baseball diamond with my wife and three kids, playing basketball or teeing up on the golf course.
