Rob brings over 25 years of public practice experience to his current role in assurance and business advisory. Rob is the engagement partner for numerous private and public organizations in the Winnipeg office with a focus on owner-managed businesses. In addition, Rob is currently on the national real estate sector committee.
Rob has a strong background in tax in addition to his assurance and accounting role. In addition to the assurance and tax service, clients are assisted with financial forecasting, business planning, business valuation, and other services geared to ensuring their success. Rob's aim is to serve as his clients preferred adviser as he and his team assist them with all major business, including long term strategy, mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture decisions. He has worked with owner-managed businesses for many years and provided advice which has assisted many in growing their business and profitability. Rob has strong technical skills, balanced with a practical approach to problem solving.
Rob has taken on a leadership role both within the office and also with several not-for-profit boards. Giving back to the community is not just a slogan for him. He has established a proven track record of assisting them in meeting their goals. Nationally Rob has been involved with several different Grant Thornton not-for-profits and currently is involved with the national real estate committee.
