As a Principal with Grant Thornton in our assurance group, I bring close to twenty years of public accounting experience to helping our clients. My career started with Deloitte, but after leaving the big city for a move to Nelson in the heart of BC’s West Kootenays several years ago, I joined Berg Lehmann, which merged with Grant Thornton in 2019.
Over the years, and through my involvement with our Community Foundation, I’ve met many dedicated people working in the not-for-profit and local government sectors and have become particularly passionate about helping these organizations navigate through the complexities of their reporting and assurance requirements.
When I am not in the office, I spend time doing what brought me to the Kootenays: hiking with my family and our beloved dog and spending time on our small farm with the alpacas, sheep and donkeys thinking about my next textile project.
