Helping my clients thrive means listening to their needs to gain a complete understanding of their business and goals. It allows me to do what I’m most passionate about—providing strategic advice to help them succeed. As a Partner in our Independence Business Group, it’s easy for me to relate to clients because I’ve not only ran a business but also purchased one during an uncertain time. Business owners don’t always have a lot of time to complete the tasks that make their business successful. That’s why it’s important to me to deliver concise and timely advice so they can focus on making priority decisions. 

After running my own professional accounting practice for 3 years, I joined Grant Thornton in 2022. Based out of our Ajax and Newcastle offices, I support clients across many industries including incorporated professionals, construction companies, service providers, funeral homes, and more. Drawing on over 12 years of experience, I help them with year-end compilations, corporate and personal income tax preparation and planning, as well as business advisory.  

I’m very proud of my team and our shared successes. I always aim to be attentive, encouraging, and provide timely feedback to support their career growth. We also participate in professional development to stay on top of emerging trends. Investing in my team is vital—not only does it encourage their career growth, but it also means our clients receive the best service possible.  

Giving back to my community is important to me. Currently, I’m the treasurer for the Northumberland Soccer Club. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids. Their sports games and practices keep us busy most days but when we get time to relax, it’s usually spent outside barbecuing, inside cooking, or settling in to watch a Netflix series or a Toronto sports team!
