As a Partner of the R&D and Government Incentives group, I advise clients on government programs, such as SR&ED, Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC) and various other grants, as well as associated compliance matters. Throughout, my aim is to make it easier for organizations to navigate these complex government programs so they can gain access to the financial incentives they need to achieve their objectives. This includes helping organizations understand the various funding options available to them, as well as negotiating with government agencies on their behalf.

Since 2001, I’ve helped clients file successful claims by leveraging proven SR&ED principles, such as streamlining their application processes, re-evaluating previous applications to find missed opportunities and defending claims upon CRA review. Additionally, my deep knowledge of government incentive parameters allows me to support clients in the preparation and defense of CanExport, IRAP, COJG, SWODF, SIF, Agri-Innovation and CAP—as well as other government incentive applications.

To date, I’ve successfully supported thousands of clients spanning a wide number of industries—including pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, mechanical- and electrical-based manufacturing, information technology and agriculture. I’ve also presented at many professional and community associations on topics related to government funding and grants.

I have a Bachelors of Pure & Applied Science with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Genetics from York University, as well as a management certificate from the Schulich School of Business. When not at work, you can find me travelling, playing on recreational sports teams—including softball, soccer and basketball—and hanging out with my two kids and husband.
