Christy McClelland

As an Advisory Senior Manager based in our Thunder Bay office, I bring 30 years of operational and professional services experience. I’ve worked with multiple healthcare institutions, non-for-profits, and both public and private service-based businesses. Dedicated to constant learning and professional development, I hold CPA, CA, and CRM designations and a PROSCI Change Management Certificate and a certificate in mediation. 

In addition to my formal education, I spent 20 years in senior administration in healthcare driving strategy into operations and learning and overcoming the challenges of making an idea become reality. Using this real-world experience, I enjoy helping clients take a fresh look at their operations, detect barriers, and identify process issues that keep businesses from achieving their goals.

My career has equipped me with a solid understanding of the realities large geographically dispersed organizations face. My operations background and experience in building financial sustainability strategies complement my holistic approach in examining my clients’ needs. Upon sharing my findings, they gain a deeper understanding as to why they’re struggling and can focus on their growth potential with a clear action plan. I also make sure we streamline and improve processes to make daily work seamless and more effective.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, I value the opportunity to provide consulting to extremely large organizations as well as a one-of-a-kind entrepreneurial spirit that brings interesting and successful self-made people together.

Giving back to the community is important to me, which is why I recently joined the Hospice Northwest Board of Directors.

As an animal lover, I’m passionate about my dogs and cats who provide me with great comfort and companionship. In the winter, I enjoy snowshoeing and sharing a bonfire with friends.
