I’m the Managing Partner of the Northern Alberta business unit and have over 23 years of experience as an income tax specialist. I enjoy the challenge of helping our clients grow and protect value in an ever-changing tax environment.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2006, I worked for a national, public telecommunications company in their internal tax group, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, including performing tax due diligence.
Since then, I’ve worked extensively with private and public companies in many industries – from manufacturing to oil and gas -- but my main focus is in construction and real estate. I’m a senior member of the Grant Thornton’s construction and real estate team in Edmonton and am actively involved in the industry as a construction association seminar leader and author.
Away from the office I’m actively involved in my community as a board member of both the Rosenau Heart Open, in support of the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, and the Capital Care Foundation
