Heather Drybrough

Helping my clients thrive involves a strong passion for continuous learning to understand their business and needs. This allows me to empower them with the information they need to make informed decisions.

Based in Calgary, I’m the lead of our valuation and litigation support team for Southern Alberta and Manitoba. With more than 20 years of experience in public practice, I specialize in business valuation and advisory services related to disputes and tax.

Working in a broad range of industries, I’ve been involved in business valuations for shareholder disputes, matrimonial separations, dissent and oppression matters, expropriation, the purchase and sale of business interests, and tax matters. My past assignments have also involved the quantification of damages resulting from breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, misrepresentation, business interruption claims for insurance purposes, and personal injury.

I hold the designations of Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and Chartered Business Valuator. I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Arts (Economics) from Queen’s University.

I’ve qualified as an expert witness in the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Manitoba Court of King’s Bench, and in arbitrations on subjects related to business valuation, income determination and quantification of commercial damages.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and snowshoeing.
