My goal is to ensure that my colleagues are well equipped with the tools, training, and resources they need to provide quality tax services to our clients. I specialize in understanding how tax rules and laws affect clients and their businesses to identify opportunities and risks and help them navigate important changes in the Canadian tax landscape.

As a Principal on the National Tax team, I’m a key internal resource for tax technical matters, oversee our tax technologies and risk management, and lead the development of our tax alerts. I’m passionate about improving tax service delivery efficiencies so that my colleagues have more time to focus on their clients. In addition, I draw on my 20 years of experience in Domestic Tax to oversee the development of tax technical planning and advisory opportunities for client-facing tax practitioners at Grant Thornton. Before joining the National Tax team, I advised clients across a variety of industries on Canadian tax compliance matters, cross-border issues, and tax opportunities. I’m also an active member of the CRA/CPA Canada Technology Working Group.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring museums, reading books, trail-walking and travelling across Canada.
