I can help large and complex privately held businesses with financial reporting, complex accounting, risk management, compliance, and professional standards. As a member of our National Professional Practice team, I am an advisor to our clients and colleagues in Atlantic Canada and Northern Ontario operating in broad range of industries including real estate, technology, pharmaceutical, and entities with international operations. I’m also experienced working with publicly listed companies, public sector entities and not-for-profit organizations.

Working with clients, I deliver trusted technical and practical knowledge in a personalized way. I simplify complex concepts to help guide owners through changes in their business. Committed to exceptional client service, I stay connected to my clients and colleagues to ensure I’m available to provide direction or support when they need.

I also believe in giving back to the CPA profession where I can. I’ve developed and facilitated various professional development sessions as part of the external Grant Thornton Education Series and for CPA Nova Scotia. I also participated in the Public Sector Auditors Technical Group.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children, camping and hiking in and around the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and visiting our many other beaches, trails, and campgrounds in Nova Scotia.
