As a Senior Manager in the Domestic Income Tax group at Grant Thornton, my practice focuses on addressing income tax matters for owner-managers and high net worth clients. Specifically, I provide income tax planning and compliance advice, and help clients address issues involving personal tax planning, corporate tax planning, trusts and estates.
I support our clients in a wide range of capacities--from preparing and advising on succession plans and estate plans, to advising on corporate transactions. I enjoy helping clients maximize their tax savings while remaining compliant with Canadian income tax legislation.
I graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with distinction in 2012. Following that, I worked in public practice at a local Peterborough firm until the firm joined Grant Thornton in 2018. I am the treasurer for the Peterborough Estate Planning Council and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. I also sit on the board of directors for the Kawartha Family Court Assessment Service.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, riding my motorcycle and playing a variety of sports. I also have a passion for personal fitness.
