No matter the client, my goal is the same: to help unlock the full potential of their business while also assessing shareholder financial independence. To do this, I build strong relationships and establish a level of trust that allows me to develop a deep understanding of my clients’ business, professional, and personal goals.
As a Partner in Assurance based in our Moncton office, I specialize in helping large privately held businesses and public sector entities in the insurance (health benefits), agriculture, manufacturing, automotive, construction, senior housing, public sector (municipal and service delivery), not-for profits and real estate industries. Additional expertise comes from helping clients operating in health benefits and insurance, media, and senior citizens housing sectors. With more than 30 years of professional experience, I advise clients on a broad range of audit and assurance matters, including transaction support, family business engagements, and domestic tax. Operational in key accounting standards such as ASPE, IFRS, Public Sector, pension plans and not-for profits, I also carry US GAAP knowledge that I gained while working with Grant Thornton US.
I’ve always been an active community member. Currently, I dedicate my time as Treasurer for the board of the Moncton YMCA Foundation. In that role, I advise on finance management and tax planning. As a past member of the Moncton West and Riverview Rotary Club, I matched volunteer groups with programs like the Riverview Boys and Girls club recycle program, blood donations events, and preparing meals for families in need at Edith Cavell.
When I am not in the office you can find me connecting with the local business community and friends on the golf course. Leading an active lifestyle, I also enjoy spending time practicing outdoor sports and boating, but I also enjoy taking some time to recharge at my cottage.
