The opportunity to work with different clients and businesses at different stages of their life and business is gratifying for me. Many families are looking for an estate planning strategy and are often scared and overwhelmed because of the uncertainty. I like to take a ‘stand in their shoes’ approach and make them feel comfortable by relating to their situation. They appreciate my empathy and walking them through the plan—this helps establish tailor-made solutions and most importantly, trust.

As a Partner in Tax, I draw on over 20 years of experience helping owner-managed businesses and high net-worth individuals in a wide range of tax areas including corporate reorganization, retirement and succession strategy, trust and estate filing and post-mortem planning, and tax planning for professionals and senior executives of large corporations.

I obtained my Master of Tax degree from the University of Waterloo. Before joining Grant Thornton in 2023, I worked at MDP LLP for 20 years. In my local community, I’m the treasurer at the Estate Planning Council of Mississauga and volunteer my time at the Community Foundation of Mississauga as a committee member of the Endowment Committee.

During my free time, I enjoy travelling to major cities to explore different cultures. I also love watching movies, trying out new restaurants, and attempting new activities and hobbies.
