Put simply, my clients are people with business problems—not businesses with problems. I care most about helping people with solutions tailored to their unique challenges during any stage of their business. From the early beginnings to incorporating, or eventually dissolving or selling—I’m involved in it all. For 20 years, I’ve provided full-service public accounting to clients across many industries, starting with a firm in Barrie, practicing with my own firm and then joining the Grant Thornton team in September 2022.

Seeing my team grow and progress in their personal career journeys is deeply gratifying and has built a family-like environment in our workplace. I believe in helping everyone succeed by providing the proper training, support, and encouragement.

Giving back to the community I live and work in is important to me. I’ve been on the board of a few charities including the Huronia Community Foundation, which focuses on facilitating and pooling donations to address community needs and support local charities in the Southern Georgian Bay region.

Outside of the office, you’ll find me where my kids are—often volunteering to coach their hockey team or helping with their soccer programs and golf clinics.
