After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, and obtaining my CPA and CMA designations, I transitioned through a variety of progressively senior financial roles focused on corporate finance and organizational strategy. During the course of my career, I have worked as a mid-market Commercial Banker at a large Canadian bank, a Vice President of Finance and Operations at an industrial distributor and a Vice President of Corporate Development at a family investment office.

In 2017, I decided to expand on that experience by joining Grant Thornton to build out the corporate finance practice throughout Ontario. In my current practice, I focus on assisting businesses to plan for, and meet, their growth and liquidity objectives. This includes helping clients access capital through the debt and equity markets to facilitate organic growth and/or strategic acquisitions, as well as assisting clients with liquidity events such as management buy-outs, minority investments and full divestitures.

When I find some down time, I enjoy spending time with family, being active in a variety of sports and outdoor activities or immersing myself in a good book / old western flick.
