As a Tax Principal with Grant Thornton in New Brunswick, I provide tax planning, accounting and compliance solutions for clients across a variety of industries. With over 15 years of professional tax experience including several years leading the tax operations function of a large multinational organization, I have experience with both Canadian and US tax compliance, managing complex consolidated financial reporting requirements, modernizing a tax provision function with implementation of tax provision software, resolving audit disputes, and implementing tax planning solutions.
My industry experience extends across manufacturing and distribution, food and consumer products, professional services, construction and real estate, and fisheries and agriculture.
I am a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants New Brunswick and have completed the CPA In-depth Tax Course, CPA Advance International Tax Course, CPA Corporate Reorganization Course, and the CPA In-depth HST/GST Course.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a supporter of local charities and enjoy coaching recreational basketball. I have served as a Governor for Rothesay Netherwood School since 2011.
