As the National Transfer Pricing Leader, I focus on helping my clients expand across international borders. With a seasoned and multi-disciplinary team of over 30 professionals, my practice offers a full suite of services in the areas of international commercial planning, transfer pricing strategy, capital structure planning, cross-border intangible property structuring, and managing resolution of foreign and domestic tax authority audits.
Based out of Grant Thornton’s global transfer pricing center of excellence in Toronto, I concentrate on global transfer pricing governance and strategy from a head-office perspective. I help my clients manage multiple service providers across multiple jurisdictions while simultaneously developing in-house tax and transfer pricing department capability. My extensive network of trusted contacts and experience across industry sectors has garnered the attention of Euromoney—a business and finance magazine—which named me the Rising Star in Transfer Pricing in Region Americas in 2022. I’m also proud that our practice was awarded the prestigious Transfer Pricing Advisory Practice of the Year award by the International Tax Review in 2018, and has been shortlisted ever since.
I hold a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Queen’s University (specializing in Finance), and a master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Waterloo. When not at work, I spend my time with my lovely wife and young daughter, while balancing community involvement within the township of King, Ontario. I am also an avid skier, golfer, automotive enthusiast, and hobby farmer focused on keeping horses.
