As one of four partners in Grant Thornton Canada’s award-winning Transfer Pricing group, I am responsible for leading 30+ professionals—including economists, tax experts, financial analysts and accountants—who specialize in a variety of transfer pricing disciplines. These include transfer pricing planning and strategy; cross-border capital structure planning; due-diligence reviews and pre-acquisition planning; intangible property valuation and migration; tax authority audit management; appeals, tax court and competent authority support; and advance pricing arrangements (APAs).
I assist multinationals with implementing best practice transfer pricing governance processes/procedures—ultimately helping them work towards establishing an in-house transfer pricing department. I also have extensive expertise in intangible property transfer pricing structure planning, as well as the transfer pricing of financial transactions (such as loans, guarantees, derivatives and other instruments).
My work has garnered me the attention of Euromoney—which named me a Rising Star in Transfer Pricing in 2016, 2017 and 2018. I am proud to be one of only two Canadians to have received the distinction.
I am also proud to be a part of the practice which was awarded the prestigious Transfer Pricing Advisory Firm of the Year award by the International Tax Review in 2018.
