The team at Grant Thornton shares a singular purpose: to help our clients, colleagues and communities thrive. I’m very pleased to be part of a strategy and direction that brings our purpose to life across the cities and towns in Northern Ontario.

I assumed my current role as senior manager on October 1, 2019, marking an exciting new chapter in a career that began with Grant Thornton in 2011. As a young graduate from Lakehead University, I was thrilled to land a job with the Grant Thornton office in my hometown of Thunder Bay. It was extremely rewarding to help my clients achieve their goals by providing assurance services, including areas such as valuation and litigation support.

I obtained my CPA, CA designation in June 2014 and soon after enrolled in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators to obtain my CBV designation to further assist our clients achieve their goals. I hope to obtain the CBV designation in November of 2020.

Growing up, I always had a passion for music and was a guitar instructor. Now, I’m a lecturer at Lakehead University, teaching the Assurance and Financial Statement Analysis and Security Valuations courses. Teaching and coaching instills important values like teamwork, commitment and dedication to excellence that serve people well throughout their lives—and it’s a lot of fun, too. That’s the kind of environment we strive for at Grant Thornton, because it allows us to bring our best to our clients, our colleagues and our communities.
