With a focus on taxation, accounting and assurance, I’m passionate about helping each of my clients fulfill their needs and achieve their goals. Working with businesses in a variety of industries—including construction, trades, retail, professional services, not-for-profits, real estate, oil and gas—my aim is to help my clients succeed and plan for the future. This may include working on plans to help them increase their cash flows, reduce operational costs and minimize their taxes. I also help with the development of estate plans, provide assurance services (mostly to not-for-profits) and assist with business restructuring.

To deliver greater value, I’m currently working on obtaining my in-depth tax designation so I can help clients with their complex taxation issues. This will supplement the CA and CPA designations I have already earned in Alberta.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, I worked with BVA LLP for almost 11 years. In 2014, I also lived in the Cayman Islands where I worked as an audit senior for Deloitte—and spent my free time snorkeling and swimming.

Born and raised in Medicine Hat, I’ve lived in the city most of my life and spend time here taking my dog for hikes and playing soccer. I also love to travel and spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy giving back to the community as part of a group called 100 Men who give a damn. We get together to hear charities’ needs and vote to provide them with a donation. Every Christmas, I also volunteer at the United Way gift wrapping booth and at the Santa Claus Fund to help with Christmas shopping for those in need.
