Since joining Grant Thornton in 2016, I’ve focused on advising privately-held businesses on the US federal and state tax consequences of expanding into the United States. This includes researching opportunities for clients to minimize tax and mitigate their exposure, advising clients on cross-border transactions and reorganizations, coordinating the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, and much more.

Throughout, I leverage my experience working in industry—as well as my background helping multinational firms in Canada, the US and globally with their tax matters—to better understand our clients’ perspectives and meet their needs.

In addition to being a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, I graduated from Simon Fraser University with both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree. I also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course.

Although I don’t currently serve on any boards, I previously held the position of Finance Director on the board of Gymnastics BC. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and being outdoors.
