In today’s ever-changing economy and business landscape, business owners and organizations regularly encounter new challenges. As a Chartered Professional Accountant and Principal with Grant Thornton in Charlottetown, I’m committed to adding value to these organizations by providing strategic advice and acting as a trusted business advisor.
Since joining Grant Thornton in 2005, I’ve helped our Island’s privately-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations achieve their goals while minimizing risk. I work with clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, real estate, and construction. I assist with business and tax planning, navigating acquisitions, overseeing compilation and review engagements, and working on tax and audit filings. I also mentor and coach our staff members, manage client relationships, and help to proactively plan our internal resource allocation.
Community involvement and sports have always been very important to me and I’m proud to be the past president of Sport PEI and Kidsport PEI, as well as a member of the board of directors.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling on the Island, across North America and overseas; coaching minor sports; and being an overall sports enthusiast.
