My true north is our purpose to help our clients, colleagues and communities thrive. As the Regional Managing Partner for Western Canada and member of National Management Committee at Grant Thornton LLP, I’m committed to creating an exceptional experience for our clients, contributing to the health and prosperity of our communities, and helping our people build amazing lives fuelled by rewarding careers.
I believe in bringing our whole selves to work in order to build authentic connections. For almost 30 years, I’ve relied on a personalized and collaborative approach to help our clients reach the next level. In addition to my client-facing work, I spent five years as a member of the firm’s Partnership Board. In this role, I chaired numerous committees including Governance, Compensation, People & Culture, as well as our Nominations Committee.
I’m a strong supporter of our local community and I’m so proud of the firm’s commitment to give back to the communities in which we work, play, and live. I currently hold an executive role with International Women’s Forum and I’m a mentor with the Venture Mentoring Services at the University of Alberta. In addition, I’ve held Board roles with Women Building Futures and the ABC Head Start Society.
My driving force is enabling others to have a meaningful life where they feel they make a difference. As a certified coach through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I have supported many colleagues to reach their goals and aspirations.
In my spare time, I love being outdoors in any capacity—whether it’s at our cabin at Fawcett Lake, Alberta, gardening, running, or any other physical activity.
